These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Newspring Church Management System, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the system.

1.1 Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the System, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the System.

1.2 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the System. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

1.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the System. By using the System, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

2. Service Description

The Newspring Church Management System is a comprehensive platform designed to facilitate church administration, member management, event coordination, and ministry operations for Newspring Church and its affiliated campuses.

2.1 System Features

• Member Management: Maintain member records, profiles, and contact information
• Department Coordination: Manage ministry departments and team assignments
• Event Management: Organize and track church events and activities
• Attendance Tracking: Record and analyze service attendance patterns
• Financial Management: Track tithes, offerings, and church finances
• Communication Tools: Facilitate internal church communication
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports for church leadership

2.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain System availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

3. User Registration and Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the System, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to the System is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This includes:

• Personal contact information
• Ministry preferences and availability
• Emergency contact details
• Other relevant personal information

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the System only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Permitted uses include:

• Church administration and management
• Member communication and coordination
• Event planning and registration
• Ministry team organization
• Spiritual growth tracking and discipleship

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the System:

• For any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities
• To harass, abuse, or harm another person

• To interfere with or disrupt the System's security or functionality

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by User

You may stop using the System at any time. To formally close your account, please contact the system administrator.

8.2 Termination by Church

We may suspend or terminate your access to the System immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in conduct that we believe is harmful to the church community
• No longer meet membership criteria
• Request account deletion

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the System will immediately cease
• Your account and related data may be deactivated or deleted
• Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

9.1 No Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Newspring Church disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Course of performance or usage of trade

9.2 Service Availability

We do not warrant that:

• The System will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The System is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The System will meet your specific requirements

9.3 Third-Party Services

The System may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Newspring Church, its pastors, staff, volunteers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of profits
• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Personal injury
• Privacy violation

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation and mediation within the church community.

11.3 Venue

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

12.3 Continued Use

Your continued use of the System after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Contact Information

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Newspring Church regarding the System and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
